Anti-glare Obsidian Screen Pro and “sound waterfall”. Hisense U8KL MiniLED TV introduced
Hisense has unveiled its new flagship TV, Hisense U8KL, which features a 2400-partition MiniLED screen that covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
The screen has a maximum brightness of 3300 cd/m2, 4K resolution, supports HDMI 2.1 and image refresh rates up to 144 Hz. The marketing name of the screen is Obsidian Screen Pro, it has an anti-reflective coating.
The TV is equipped with an ambient light sensor to automatically adjust the picture. Inside there is a proprietary Xinxin X processor, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory. The TV supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and is equipped with a sound system that the manufacturer describes as a “sound waterfall.”
The TV is offered in three sizes:
- 65 inches – $1230;
- 75 inches – $1,700;
- 85 inches – $2400.

The basic model is represented by catalog numbers SM-S921U and SM-S921U1, Galaxy S24 Plus – SM-S926U and SM-S926U1, Galaxy S24 Ultra – SM-S928U and SM-S928U1.
Based on the certification documents, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus are equipped with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 adapters, NFC and UWB chips. The Galaxy S24 Ultra has everything the same except for Wi-Fi – it supports Wi-Fi 7.
Let us remind you that according to preliminary data, the premiere of the Galaxy S24 line will take place on January 17. The Ultra model will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the other two models will be powered by both Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400.
