Another photo from Mars showed a “snake head” and a balancing stone

The Perseverance rover has published a new photo from the Red Planet, where you can see several interesting objects.

Another photo from Mars showed a

There are two such objects in one picture at once. First, on the left side you can see a stone balancing on top of a larger boulder. Secondly, in the central part you can see a stone very similar to a snake’s head.

Of course, there is nothing unusual in both objects: balancing stones are also found in abundance on Earth, and a snake head seems to be such because of the angle.

For scientists, photographs are much more valuable in terms of studying the nature of the formation of such landscapes. In particular, much in the Perseverance images confirms the assumption that there was a lake in the Jezero crater in ancient times, and rivers flowed along the slopes.
