An improved version of Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is presented
Xiaomi has introduced a version of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 tablet with increased memory.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro, which debuted last year, were Xiaomi’s first tablets in three years. The basic version of Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 was offered in two versions – with 6 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of flash memory.
Now in China, a new variation is presented – Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory. This version is available for $381. Sales start April 26th.
Recall that Xiaomi Pad 5 received an IPS screen with a diagonal of 11 inches, a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, SoC Snapdragon 860, cameras with a resolution of 8 and 13 MP, four speakers, a battery with a capacity of 8720 mAh with support for fast charging with a power of 33 Tue The tablet runs MIUI for Pad based on Android 11. Xiaomi Smart Pen is supported, which is fixed on the side with magnets. The stylus is not included in the package.
OnePlus has officially confirmed that it will launch its first tablet on February 7, called the OnePlus Pad.
In a post on the official blog, OnePlus has shared the first details about the upcoming device. OnePlus Pad will receive an aluminum alloy and a camera located in the central upper part on the back of the device.
OnePlus also said that the OnePlus Pad will feature a curved body that is rounded on the sides, allowing users to “comfortably hold the tablet for extended periods of time without fatigue.”
OnePlus hasn’t shared any further details on the tablet’s specs, but it is rumored to have an 11.6-inch display.
An insider, known on the Weibo social network under the nickname Digital Chat Station, revealed the parameters of the promising Oppo Pad 2 tablet. Judging by the list of characteristics, the new model will be much better than the Oppo Pad.
The Oppo Pad 2 is expected to feature an 11-inch (or slightly larger) IPS screen with a resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels, 144Hz frame rate, support for Dolby Vision and HDR 10+. The hardware platform of the device will be SoC MediaTek Dimensity 9000, but Android 13 will act as a software platform.
Oppo Pad 2 will receive a 9500mAh battery with 67W charging support. In comparison, the Oppo Pad has an 8360mAh battery with support for 33W charging. The premiere of Oppo Pad 2 is expected in February, the estimated cost of the basic version is $ 370.
