Huawei introduced a number of new products at a large conference in China today. Among them is the new flagship series of smart watches Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro.
One of the highlights of the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro is the EN13319 certification, which means that the watch can be used as a diving accessory. The company promises the possibility of diving to a depth of 30 meters.
Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro received a new design for the brand, titanium, ceramic and sapphire glass are used in the decoration. The watch is capable of tracking a variety of health and user related parameters, including heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), respiration, stress levels and the menstrual cycle. Removing an electrocardiogram is possible by pressing a special button on the case.
The watch also has a special freediving mode, during which dive parameters are recorded, and there are also customizable reminders. There is also a golf mode. In total, more than a hundred sports modes are supported.
The watch in the Titanium Edition version is equipped with a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, is enclosed in a titanium case with sapphire crystal and a ceramic back cover, battery life is up to 14 days. The Ceramic Edition version received a 1.32-inch AMOLED screen, a ceramic case and sapphire crystal, and a battery life of up to 7 days.
Five navigation systems are supported – GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS. Wireless charging is possible, the manufacturer promises to recharge by 25% in just 10 minutes. The watch is based on HarmonyOS. It supports music playback control on a smartphone, camera, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi. There is an eSIM, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of flash memory.
Reception of pre-orders has already begun, open sales will start on May 6th. The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro Titanium Edition is on sale for $376 and the Ceramic Edition is $451.
