A well-known Chinese insider under the nickname Digital Chat Station has published high-quality renderings of the Vivo X80 smartphone, showing the design of the front and back panels.
The device features a rectangular camera module on the back with a circular island that houses a Zeiss-branded triple camera system. The phone will receive a display curved on the sides with a narrow frame, as well as a hole for a selfie camera. The phone will be available in orange, black and blue colors.
The device is expected to debut in China on April 25 alongside the Vivo X80 Pro and X80 Pro+ models. The standard Vivo X80 will feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 400ppi.
The device will be based on the Dimensity 9000 single-chip system paired with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 flash memory. The device is expected to come with a 4500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support and will run Android 12 operating system.
The phone will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX886 main sensor with optical image stabilization, as well as two 12-megapixel sensors and 2x optical zoom. The front camera should be 32-megapixel.
Previously, Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately announce the characteristics and release dates of Redmi K50 and Xiaomi 12. It also regularly publishes information received from its own informants in the research and development departments of various companies.

The Chinese resource ITHome announced when phones of the once flagship Xiaomi Mi 10 line will receive MIUI 14. This will happen in April this year. Moreover, the update will be based on Android 13, not Android 13.
