In anticipation of the commercial launch of the new Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards, which will take place tomorrow, AMD is unveiling the Hangar 21 teaser – a demonstration that shows all the technological capabilities of the new products. Hangar 21 will launch on November 19th.
In fact, it is not entirely clear what Hangar 21 is. It can be a simple visual dynamic scene, like a kind of benchmark, or a small game in which you can “run” yourself and evaluate all the innovations of the Radeon RX 6000.
However, the trailer showcases all of the technologies we expect to be featured in the Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards, including ray tracing, reflections, dynamic lighting, and realistic shadows. For demonstration we used Microsoft DirectX Ratracing API and AMD FidelityFX software.
Let us remind you that from tomorrow, November 18, only two video cards will go on sale – Radeon RX 6800 and Radeon RX 6800 XT. From December 9, the older model Radeon RX 6900 XT will go on sale.
Other video cards based on chips from AMD and Nvidia can be found on the links. And here you will find information on how to buy an Nvidia RTX 30.
