Amazfit Band 7 will compete with Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro and Redmi Smart Band Pro: all details leaked before the announcement
Amazfit is known for its smartwatches, but the company also has a line of fitness trackers. At the moment, the company is preparing to launch its next generation fitness tracker, the Amazfit Band 7, on the market.
The Amazfit Band 7, codenamed Bari, bears some resemblance to the Redmi Smart Band Pro in terms of design. It will be equipped with a 4.7-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 194 x 368 pixels and a peak brightness of 500 cd/m2
The device will also have a PPG heart rate sensor with support for 24/7 heart rate tracking, as well as sleep and stress monitoring. When paired with a smartphone, it can display notifications along with other basic functions.
The bracelet will support more than 100 sports modes with support for automatic workout detection. The device will have 8MB of RAM and 128MB of flash storage and can be paired with smartphones running Android 5.0 or iOS 10.0 and above using Bluetooth 5.1.
Declared water resistance of 5 atm and a weight of 28 grams. A 230 mAh battery provides up to 18 days of normal use and up to 9 days of heavy use.
The device is expected to launch later this year and could cost around $50.
