Amazfit Band 7 smart bracelet presented, and it’s not exactly a competitor to Xiaomi Band 7 Pro
Amazfit is the creator of smart bracelets for Xiaomi. Therefore, it is not surprising that its new Band 7 model is very similar to the Xiaomi Band 7 Pro. But in fact, this is a copy of another Xiaomi product, but more on that later.
Amazfit Band 7 is already available in some markets. In the US, they charge $50 for a novelty. The Band 7, like its fellow Xiaomi, is much larger than conventional smart bracelets, but the Band 7 in the Amazfit version is smaller than the Band 7 from Xiaomi. The screen here has a diagonal of 1.47 inches versus 1.64 inches from a competitor. This is an AMOLED panel with a resolution of 198 x 368 pixels. Autonomy is 18 days in the average mode of use, and in the power saving mode it grows up to 28 days.
The tracker is based on the BioTracker 3.0 PPG sensor, which is responsible for tracking heart rate, pulse oximeter function, and so on. The tracker is also capable of tracking sleep, 120 types of sports activity, offers more than 50 watch faces and several color options. Of course, there is water protection (5 ATM).
Returning to the topic of copying, Amazfit Band 7 looks like Xiaomi Band 7 Pro, but in fact it is a copy of Redmi Smart Band Pro, which entered the market back in October last year.
