The specs for almost every Intel desktop processor of the Raptor Lake generation have surfaced online.

According to this document, we are waiting for 14 CPUs with the number of cores from four to 24, while there will be only one quad-core – Core i3-13100. The next model (Core i5-13400) will have 10 cores, and it will also be the only one, because the Core i5-13500 and a number of older CPUs will already offer 14 cores.

Only the Core i9s will get the new die type, as only they will have a full configuration with eight large and 16 small cores. By the way, the Core i9-13900KS is not in the table, so it really may not be, especially if we recall the recent data on the 350-watt power limit for older Cores.

Acer decided to enter the video card market and not with Nvidia or AMD products. Acer has unveiled its first 3D card today and it’s the Arc A770 Predator BiFrost.

Whether Acer will release only Intel cards is still unknown. In this case, we can see a non-reference design, two eight-pin power connectors at once (the reference card has 6 + 8 connectors) and a very unusual cooling system with two fans, which are very different both in size and design. The smaller one is completely similar to the centrifugal one, but it is impossible to say for sure from one image.

There is also no data on the Acer card yet. Recall, Arc A770 has 8 or 16 GB of memory and 4096 FP32 blocks. The card is priced at $330 or $350, depending on the version. Intel also introduced the more affordable Arc A750, priced at $290.

Someone already managed to test the flagship Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card in the Geekbench benchmark, and it did not disappoint. The result in the CUDA test is 417,713 points.

For comparison, the result of the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti is 260,346 points. Thus, if we evaluate the performance of CUDA cores, then in the new generation of Nvidia’s flagship it has grown by 1.6 times.

It is noteworthy that we tested the new Nvidia product in the same booth with the new AMD product – the flagship Ryzen 9 7950X processor. Also, the assembly used an ASRock X670E Taichi motherboard and 32 GB DDR5-6000 MHz memory.

Recall that sales of the GeForce RTX 4090 will start on October 12. And at least in the US, the novelty can be purchased for the recommended $ 1,600.
