The China Internet Development Report, published at the conference, shows that China’s Internet industry has grown rapidly in 2020, and the number of Internet users has grown.

As of the end of 2020, the number of 5G network users in China exceeded 160 million. China is home to 89% of 5G users. The number of Internet users in the country is about 989 million, and the Internet penetration rate is now 70.4%.

According to reports, China has the world’s largest fiber optic network, independent 4G and 5G networks. In addition, there are currently 916,000 5G base stations in the country, accounting for 70% of the global total. In addition, the number of 5G connections in China exceeds 365 million, accounting for 80% of the world’s total.

China plans to boost investment in core core technologies. The country will focus on 5G networks, big data, core software, industrial software, and artificial intelligence.
