Documents from Intel’s presentation of new Raptor Lake processors have leaked to the Web. They describe the characteristics of several new generation CPUs. To be more precise, only models with an unlocked multiplier, but this is because, according to all the rumors, Intel will introduce them first, and the rest of the models will have to wait until the beginning of next year. It was the same with Alder Lake.

So, there is nothing particularly new in these tables, since there has already been a lot of information about processors. The Core i9-13900K with 24 cores will indeed run at up to 5.8GHz, with a base clock of 2.2GHz for small cores and 3GHz for large ones. CPUs will be able to work with DDR5-5600 memory, have a TDP of 125W, and the maximum consumption is 253W for Core i9 and Core i7 and 181W for Core i5.

It can also be noted that the Core i7-13700K looks better than the Core i9-12900K in terms of parameters, approaching the Core i9-12900KS. At the same time, the updated architecture should make the new product faster.

The Ryzen 9 7950X processor continues to impress with advances even before it hits the market.

Ryzen 9 7950X at 6.5 GHz consumes as much as a non-overclocked Core i9-12900K

This time the processor showed how energy efficient it can be even with extreme overclocking. So, the Sampson overclocker managed to overclock the CPU to 6.5 GHz for all cores using liquid nitrogen.

And at such a high frequency, the processor consumed only 270 watts. For comparison, the Core i9-12900K requires about the same amount without any overclocking, just under maximum load. The Core i9-13900K, when overclocked to 6.2-6.3 GHz, requires about 400 watts.

With such overclocking, the new AMD scores more than 48,200 points in Cinebench R23, and in Cinebench R20 the result reaches 18,605 points. There is also a result from another source with overclocking to 6.7 GHz and 50,395 points in Cinebench R23.

Recall that the Ryzen 9 7950X will be on sale on September 27th. Intel on the same day will introduce its Raptor Lake processors, but they will not go on sale until October.

Intel is finally ready to release its top end Arc graphics

It looks like we finally have the exact launch dates for the older Intel Arc graphics cards.

Intel is finally ready to release its top-end Arc graphics cards. Reviews due October 5th

There are reportedly at least two dates for the Arc A770. First, unpackings of the adapter will be published on September 30, and then on October 5, thematic resources will be able to publish reviews as well.

Earlier, Intel itself said that the Arc A750 will be released along with the A770, so, apparently, the indicated dates are also valid for the younger card. But there is no data about Arc A580.

In addition, it is expected that on September 27, the day of the announcement of the Raptor Lake processors, Intel can share new details about the graphics cards. In particular, to finally name the prices, which she promised to make very competitive.

Recall that the top Arc A770 is reportedly capable of competing with the GeForce RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti.

GeForce RTX 3090 is everything Nvidia is phasing out the

Even before the official premiere of Nvidia Ada Lovelace video cards, there were rumors that after the premiere of new products (and, in particular, the GeForce RTX 4090), Nvidia might discontinue the production of the GeForce RTX 3090, and it all happened: there is no place for GeForce in the current Nvidia line RTX 3090. Moreover, the age of the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti turned out to be short-lived.

GeForce RTX 3090 is everything. Nvidia is phasing out the Ampere line of flagships

This is what the current line of Nvidia 3D cards looks like after the announcement of the GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 4080

If the GeForce RTX 3090 has lived quite a long life, then you can’t say the same about the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. At the same time, this model performed the important function of a test platform for the GeForce RTX 4090. Well, since the GeForce RTX 4090 is already officially presented and will go on sale pretty soon, then there is no point in it: the current and previous flagship would simply compete with each other, which clearly not in the hands of Nvidia.

However, the fact that the GeForce RTX 3090 and RTX 3090 Ti are discontinued does not mean that these models will immediately disappear from sale. They will be available for purchase until stocks run out. Even now, these models are presented in the official Nvidia online store.
