The source published the first photo of the iPad mini 6 tablet in the hands of the user, as well as a render of the device provided by the accessory manufacturers. These images show for the first time the updated iPad mini 6, which differs from previous renders.

The most obvious change is the location of the volume buttons, which were originally supposed to be on the right side of the iPad mini 6, but ended up on top. This is likely to accommodate a full-size Apple Pencil 2 on the side. Earlier leaks suggested that Apple is working on a more compact stylus, but the company may have abandoned the idea and changed the position of the buttons.

The render also shows a new bezel design with narrow bezels and a missing Home button. The Touch ID fingerprint reader should be built into the tablet’s power button. In addition, he will receive two stereo speakers. The back of the tablet is equipped with a single camera, microphone and LED flash.

The iPad mini 6 is reported to be available in five colors, including space gray, silver, rose gold, gold, and sky blue. In terms of price, the standard variant with 64GB of storage and Wi-Fi connectivity will start at $ 400. The 256GB version will retail for $ 550. Cellular versions will cost $ 530 and $ 680, respectively.

iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPad Air, iPad mini and other older Apple devices receive a very important update

Published

on

An iOS update for iPhone and iPad was released yesterday that fixes several types of vulnerabilities and security issues, mainly for devices released before the iPhone 7, that is, before 2016.

In iOS 12.5.5, users will find fixes for vulnerabilities related to CoreGraphics, WebKit and XNU. A vulnerability has been discovered for XNU that allows a malicious application to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. Apple noted that “an exploit for this issue really exists,” but did not report that the vulnerability was actively exploited.

For WebKit, “maliciously crafted web content” can potentially lead to arbitrary code execution. This vulnerability differs from the XNU issue because Apple is aware of cases in which the WebKit issue may have been “actively exploited.”

The CoreGraphics vulnerability worked by processing a malicious PDF file. This vulnerability could initiate arbitrary code execution through the specified malicious PDF file. The fix removes integer overflow through improved input validation.

This update is required for iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, iPad Air (1st generation), iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, and iPod touch 6th generation. You can download this software update by going to Settings – General – Software Update.
