All-New 2024 Hyundai Sonata Gets Triple Powerplants, Smartphone Control, Bose Sound System and Smart Cruise Control
A few days after the presentation of the new Hyundai Sonata 2024, additional details and specifications were announced.
Hyundai said the new Sonata will offer a choice between a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder, a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, and a 2.0-liter hybrid electric system. The exact power and torque specifications for these engines have not been announced.
What is certain is that the 2.5-liter turbo engine will be offered exclusively for the Sonata N-Line, while the hybrid version will be available for the Sonata HEV model. The South Korean automaker says this model will feature paddle shifters and regenerative braking to improve fuel economy.
The new Sonata comes standard with a host of safety technologies, including collision avoidance, blind spot alert, smart cruise control with stop & go and highway driving assistance.
In addition, an updated Remote Smart Parking Assist feature has been added, which allows users to park their car remotely using a smart key fob. Hyundai notes that the new model also offers improved side impact protection and “best-in-class braking performance and stopping distance.” Noise, vibration and harshness levels have also been reduced.
Recall that the interior includes a new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, which are located on a common curved module. Also installed is a 12-inch head-up display and an improved 12-speaker Bose Premium audio system. The new car also supports wireless software updates and comes with a new digital key that can be connected to smartphones and smart watches running iOS and Android operating systems.
Hyundai Sonata 2024 will be shown at the Seoul Auto Show, which will be held from March 30 to April 9, as well as at the New York International Auto Show on April 6.

As a result, premium devices accounted for 31% of all smartphone sales, and it seems that this is the best-selling segment at the moment!
And dominates in this segment, of course, Apple. In the list of best-selling smartphones priced at $500 and above, the first four places are occupied by the iPhone, with the iPhone 14 Pro Max at the top. Fourth place was taken by the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, the fifth was the iPhone 14 Plus, followed by the Galaxy S23, and behind it, curiously, the iPhone 12. Moreover, the iPhone SE is also on the list, and of the devices from other manufacturers, there are only Xiaomi 13 and Huawei Mate 50.
