The Americans installed the most powerful launch vehicle in the world at the moment on the launch pad. SLS is due to make its first flight on August 29

NASA has placed SLS rockets on the launch pad for launch as part of the Artemis 1 mission.
The launch is scheduled for August 29th. The Artemis 1 mission involves testing the Orion spacecraft and launching it to the moon. The mission will last from 39 to 42 days. Among other things, one of the most important moments of the mission will be the return of the ship to Earth. Orion will not just return, but will enter the upper atmosphere twice. The first entry will be partial with a further return to a higher orbit, after which a full re-entry and landing will follow. Thus, NASA will test the ship for strength.
As for the rocket, once launched, the SLS will be the most powerful rocket currently in use. It is capable of launching up to 95 tons of cargo into the reference orbit, and in the future, after modifications, the figure can be increased to 130 tons. It is capable of delivering 27 tons to the moon.
NASA expects that the upcoming launch will attract a huge number of people to the beach near the spaceport. Cocoa Beach city officials estimate that between 100,000 and 200,000 people will come to watch the launch.

Even before the launch of Dojo, the Tesla supercomputer has 7360 Nvidia A-100 graphics accelerators and is ranked seventh in the world

Tesla AI Infra & AI Platform manager Tim Zaman said the electric vehicle maker now has the world’s seventh largest supercomputer by number of GPUs. And this is before the launch of the Dojo supercomputer.
Tim Zaman confirmed that Tesla has upgraded its supercomputer to 7360 A100 (80 GB) GPUs. This makes the Tesla supercomputer one of the largest in the world in terms of the number of GPUs.
The A100 GPUs are made by Nvidia, where Zaman worked before joining Tesla. Each processor has 80 GB of graphics memory and has a bandwidth of 2 TB per second.
Tesla’s current supercomputer is the forerunner of the Dojo. Interestingly, Tesla noted last year that the company’s supercomputer, even before Dojo, was already the fifth most powerful in the world with the 5760 Nvidia A100. The company has since added about 1,600 GPUs to the system.
The Tesla Dojo supercomputer is developed in-house, so instead of the Nvidia A100, it will use a custom Tesla D1 chip that will be supported by FP32, BFP16, and CFP8. Dojo will be optimized for machine learning workloads, specifically Tesla Autopilot and Full Self Driving.

Rostec showed the latest sensors based on various physical principles for detecting infantry and ground vehicles

Rostec for the first time showed the intelligence and signaling complex for covert surveillance 1K144-E, which includes sensors based on various physical principles. They are able to detect infantry and ground vehicles of the enemy, remaining completely invisible.
The complex includes seismic, infrared and magnetometric sensors up to 20 cm in size and weighing 150-600 grams. They are buried in the ground, camouflaged on the ground and provide continuous operation from built-in batteries for up to 30 days.
The system captures moving objects, determines the direction of their movement, counts and classifies them by type: wheeled vehicles, tracked vehicles or manpower. The complex is able to detect an infantryman within a radius of 30 m, wheeled vehicles – up to 120 m, a tank or infantry fighting vehicle – up to 200 m. You can install such sensors in a matter of minutes.
The data is displayed on the operator’s monitor in the form of an electronic map of the area with indications of the location of sensors and detected objects. The system is already being produced by the Sozvezdie Concern (part of Roselectronics).
At the Army forum, for the first time, we present a full-scale sample of the export version of the 1K144-E (TAS3) complex. This is an advanced covert remote surveillance solution for assessing the situation at controlled borders. The complex uses sensors operating on various physical principles, which ensures the reliability of the transmitted data.
