CD Projekt RED has published a rather large video, which talks about the new corporate development strategy. The almost half-hour video does not contain specific details about new games or additional content for Cyberpunk 2077, however, the developers said that they are rethinking the strategy of the upcoming multiplayer game in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe.
Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer has been discussed for quite some time, and CD Projekt Red planned to release it as a standalone project long before the release of Cyberpunk 2077. In this video, CD Projekt RED explains that Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer was supposed to be the company’s next major AAA project, but with a change in strategy development company is now revising this decision and, apparently, multiplayer for Cyberpunk 2077 in general.
We previously hinted that our next AAA project would be multiplayer Cyberpunk, but we decided to revisit that plan. With our new, more systematic and flexible approach, rather than focusing primarily on one big online project, we want to make sure that online appears someday in all of our franchises.
CEO and President of CD Projekt Adam Kicinski
What this means for the multiplayer game Cyberpunk 2077 is currently unknown, but CD Projekt RED is currently working on fixing the single player game Cyberpunk 2077.
This morning we posted a video showing how the game has changed with the release of Update 1.2.
First Nintendo Switch OLED Unboxing Video Appears
Nintendo Switch OLED sales will start on October 8th. But now a video has appeared on the Web with the first unpacking of the console.
In the video, you can evaluate the box’s packaging, the console itself in a new color, and also compare the new product with the first version of Switch and Switch Lite.
The screen in the video seems to be of high quality, but such an assessment is in any case very conditional. In addition, it looks like Nintendo has improved the anti-glare properties of the screen in the new model, although it’s hard to say for sure.
Check into a hotel to play PlayStation 5. In China, hotels offer gaming rooms
Chinese hotel chain Golden Tulip Shanghai Rainbow Hotel has begun offering rooms for gamers. These rooms, among other things, offer a PlayStation 5 console with a pair of joysticks and a huge 85-inch Sony Bravia TV. There is also a Sony HT-ST5000 soundbar for added effect, offering 7.2.1 sound.
At the same time, the idea was allegedly implemented with the direct support of the Chinese division of Sony. Nothing is said about the games available on such consoles, but the advertising posters and the console screen show God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us Part II, FIFA and many other projects.
It is difficult to say in advance how popular such an offer will be, but given the popularity of video games and the PS5 shortage, the demand for such numbers may well be quite high.
Thousands of people in the US lined up for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series
Queues on the streets for new iPhones are a thing of the past for various reasons. Now the actual queues for video cards, processors and consoles.
A large retailer BestBuy recently announced that it had acquired another batch of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X game consoles. As a result, impressive queues formed to some of the more than 300 stores indicated in the announcement. In at least one city, the queue consisted of about 250 people.
Not only did people start queuing up a day before the start of sales, but in some cases they continued to stand outside the store in the pouring rain. The store promised to sell only one set-top box per hand, which increased the chances of ordinary people getting the console. Considering that this was the first such sale of set-top boxes in the BestBuy network since the devices entered the market a year ago, it is not surprising that the excitement was significant.
