Realme has announced the official release date for its flagship smartphone Realme GT in Europe. The global presentation of the device will take place exactly one week later, on June 15th.

Just yesterday, the price of the Realme GT version appeared on the official Realme website, which is equipped with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory. The smartphone was offered for 550 euros, but the page appeared prematurely, so it was removed. Realme said the Realme GT smartphone will initially ship to Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Portugal. Over time, the novelty will appear in other markets.

The flagship previously released in China received a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with FHD + resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate, stereo speakers, and Hi-Res Audio support. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack and an advanced vibration motor. The main camera uses image sensors with a resolution of 64 megapixels (Sony IMX682), 8 and 2 megapixels. The front camera is 16 megapixel.

The battery capacity is 4500 mAh, 65-watt charging is supported. The smartphone runs on the new Realme UI 2.0 shell based on the Android 11 operating system.

The company’s first hosting client was Galaxy Digital.

“Recent market volatility has demonstrated the importance of our core strategy: power control as a major contributor to bitcoin mining,” said ACDC CEO Alexandra DaCosta.

ACDC uses S19 generation miners for mining in a data center in Colorado. Adjacent to the facility is a 75,000 square foot R&D and execution center.

The second ACDC facility will be a 30 MW data center capable of accommodating 10,000 ASIC miners. This data center will be combined with an 87 MW solar power plant, which will be commissioned this summer.

The third project that ACDC is working on is a 150 MW data center that will work in conjunction with a 200 MW solar farm.

The power consumption of the Radeon RX 7000 series graphics

Rumors are actively attributing huge power consumption up to 600 W and even higher to GeForce RTX 40 video cards. Radeon RX 7000 cards will also consume more than the current generation.

The power consumption of the Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards will not be as huge as that of the GeForce RTX 40

AMD Senior Vice President Sam Naffziger revealed some details about the RDNA 3 architecture and products based on it. He also touched upon the topic of energy consumption.

The demand for gaming and computing performance is increasing, while at the same time the development of technical processes is slowing down quite sharply. Thus, the power level will only increase. We now have a multi-year roadmap with very significant energy efficiency improvements to offset this curve, but the trend is there.

Performance is critical, but even if our designs are more energy efficient, that doesn’t mean we won’t raise power levels if competitors are doing the same. They’ll just have to raise them much higher than us.

Thus, the Radeon RX 7000 line, despite the previously stated 50 percent advantage (over the RX 6000) in power efficiency, will stand out for its high power consumption simply because of the huge performance boost. At the same time, AMD is confident that Nvidia will have to increase power consumption even higher.

For now, the RX 6000 line is more power efficient than the GeForce RTX 30, although the difference isn’t huge. Previously, there were rumors that the top-end RX 7900 XT will consume 450 watts versus 600 watts in the case of the RTX 4090, but so far these are just rumors.
