Adobe Photoshop launched on 5-year-old Lumia smartphone with Windows 10 ARM ported

Despite the end of support for Microsoft Lumia smartphones, artisans continue to upgrade their devices. Thanks to the efforts of enthusiasts, we managed to transfer Windows 10 to the Lumia 950 and 950 XL. As it turned out, such smartphones can run the beta version of Adobe Photoshop for ARM Windows, announced a few days ago.

It is difficult to assess how correctly the application works on a modified operating system, but the fact of launching it is obvious.

When it comes to integrating Windows 10 for Lumia smartphones, the enthusiasts have made significant strides. The devices are able to identify the SIM card, have support for Continuum and custom dialing applications.

The successful launch of Windows 10 on Lumia smartphones became known six months ago, as we talked about in this article. As you can see, the assembly turned out to be viable for running modern applications.

Of course, this is more of an experiment than a real alternative to buying a new phone.
