Adobe Announces Beta Photoshop for ARM Windows and New Apple ARM-Based Macs

ARM-based systems are gradually gaining popularity. For example, Apple recently announced that it has developed its own M1 chip, which will be the basis of new Mac devices. Following current trends, Adobe has announced a beta version of Photoshop for ARM-based systems.

Adobe has announced two ARM-based versions of Photoshop for Windows and macOS. The ARM version of Photoshop should significantly improve application performance without the need to emulate work through utilities such as Apple’s Rosetta on macOS. The beta version of Photoshop for macOS will be available on new Macs launch day.

However, it should be borne in mind that the application is in beta testing, which means that many functions will not work or work incorrectly. However, an app as popular as Photoshop is a big boost for ARM-based devices.

By the way, just today Blizzard announced that World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will be able to work on new Mac devices with Apple M1 on board.

As a reminder, the release date for the ARM Mac has not yet been disclosed, but you can find many other Intel-based Mac models in our catalog.
