There are already high-quality images of this product on the Web, while the company did not give a date for their launch on sale, or even a name. However, you can recall that earlier on the Web there were rumors about Project Nomad headphones created just for the PlayStation, so this is probably them.
Then it was reported that Project Nomad will receive some kind of innovative technology for wireless data transmission without loss and low latency. At the same time, headphones can also be connected to a smartphone or PC via Bluetooth.

In 2023, Apple won’t even sell 100,000 of its mixed reality headsets. According to TrendForce analysts

In a few days, Apple should introduce its mixed reality headset. She is credited with a price of $ 3,000, which will make the product quite niche. TrendForce analysts believe that by the end of this year, Apple will sell less than 100,000 devices.
At the same time, analysts do not know when the product will go on sale, which, of course, will affect sales volumes at the end of the year. In fact, there are no clear rumors about this.
However, the source also believes that the total production of the headset this year will be limited to just 300,000 units.
Interestingly, analysts claim that Apple’s headset will primarily be aimed at developers, although we have heard other rumors before. If the TrendForce data is correct, it will really limit sales very much.
In general, the authors expect the VR/AR headset market to decline by 18.2% by the end of the year, to 7.45 million units.

When developing its mixed reality headset, Apple tested competitors’ headsets. Including Samsung Gear VR

Apple is expected to unveil its mixed reality headset at WWDC 2023. According to recent reports, during the development of this device in the early stages, Apple used various competitor headsets for testing. Including Samsung Gear VR and HTC Vive.
Initially, Apple was going to release a compact and lightweight augmented reality glasses that could be worn all day. In fact, this is what a very long-standing rumor has been talking about. But a series of problems led to the fact that the plan changed, and now we are waiting for a full-fledged augmented reality headset that looks like ski goggles and requires an external battery.
According to recent reports, Apple will promote the product as a solution for entertainment and sports, but there are no clear details yet.
