This is a device that could fly in the atmosphere of Titan and swim on its lakes and seas. This satellite of Saturn has a very dense atmosphere, and on its surface there are lakes and seas of methane.

Mary Knapp of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge has proposed the idea of ​​a new type of space observatory, consisting of thousands of small spacecraft. This swarm could be configured to detect low-frequency radio emission from the earliest epochs of the universe, and measure the magnetic fields of terrestrial exoplanets.

The idea of ​​Artur Davoyan (Artur Davoyan) from the University of California, when implemented, will be a revolution in the development of humanity in the expanses of the solar system. Davoyan proposes to accelerate spacecraft using microscopic high-speed particles obtained after converting the radiation of a powerful laser located on Earth. The particles will be able to move at speeds up to 120 km/s, which will allow a 1 tonne spacecraft to cover a distance of 100 AU. in just three years, that is, the average travel speed will be about 571,000 km/h or about 160 km/s. For comparison, Voyager 1 traveled 123 AU in 35 years.

In total, NASA chose 14 projects of scientists. Of course, it is not a fact that at least one project will ever be implemented, but work on some may lead to the creation of some new technologies that will be used in other projects.
