The source reports that Snapdragon Wear 5100 and 5100+ single-chip systems will be manufactured using a 4 nm process technology instead of the previously planned 5 nm. This should have a positive effect on their energy efficiency.
It is likely that Samsung will produce new SoCs. The source says that Snapdragon Wear 5100 and 5100+ will differ in packaging, but for ordinary users it does not matter. You can probably expect differences in performance.
What is important is that the older version will support ultra-low power deep sleep mode, that is, if necessary, thanks to the separately included QCC5100 coprocessor, you can use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth with extremely low energy consumption.
As for the main characteristics, both platforms should receive four Cortex-A53 cores with a frequency of up to 1.7 GHz and an Adreno 703 GPU with a frequency of up to 700 MHz. Both SoCs have support for up to 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 flash.
In addition, the platforms will support cameras with a resolution of 16 and 13 megapixels, the ability to record video in Full HD and support for video calling. Another source expects that the QCC5100 capabilities of the Snapdragon Wear 5100+ will allow watchmakers to implement better vibration feedback.

The watch is shown in a completely black matte metal case with a silicone bracelet with a magnetic clasp. According to SamMobile, they will get a 1.47-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 470 x 470 pixels.
There are also two buttons on the side that were used for navigation in previous Galaxy Watch models. SamMobile reports that the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will feature the Exynos W980 chipset, which should be about 10% faster than the Exynos W920 used in the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5.
The Galaxy Watch 6 series is expected to provide sleep tracking, body composition analysis, a heart rate sensor, a temperature sensor, GPS, NFC, and a barometer. There are also rumors that the device is equipped with a 425 mAh battery.
