Dongfeng’s Voyah brand has released another set of official images of its Zhuiguang PHEV sedan. The new car has an electric range of up to 262 km and a full range of 1,260 km. Its pre-sale will begin at the Guangzhou Auto Show on November 17.
This is a hybrid version of the previously released electric car. The Zhuiguang PHEV will have a fastback body style with flush-mounted door handles, pass-through taillights and a panoramic sunroof. The main change is noticeable at the front. Due to the addition of the engine, the PHEV version has a traditional front grille design.
The dimensions of the Zhuiguang PHEV are 5088 x 1970 x 1515 mm, and the wheelbase is 3000 mm. The car is built on the ESSA+SOA platform. Once launched, it will be a direct competitor to BYD Han, NIO ET7 and IM L7.
The powertrain includes a 1.5 liter hybrid engine with a maximum power of 136 kW, combined with two electric motors at the front and rear, producing a maximum power of 176 hp. and 217 hp respectively. The triple lithium battery with a capacity of 43 kWh provides a pure electric range of 262 km on the CLTC cycle. The total range is 1227 km. The previously released Zhuiguang electric car is available in versions with a range of 580 km and 730 km.
The car will be equipped with a “digital vanity” – a long screen that combines the instrument panel, central control screen and front passenger entertainment screen. The rear seats are electronically adjustable and come standard with footrests, ventilation, heating and massage functions.
More than 1000 hp, four engines, 3.3 tons, drone on the roof The five-meter “armored car” M800 is presented – the second model of the M-Hero brand
Dongfeng has unveiled the M-Hero M800 EREV SUV, which is powered by a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine and a triple CATL battery. It will be the second model of the M-Hero brand.
The second M-Hero model, the M800, matches the M-Hero 917 in exterior styling with lots of chopped lines. But it has a smaller grille and larger overhangs. There is a platform for drones on the roof. It’s also larger than the M-Hero 917, measuring 5136 x 2172 x 2063mm (compared to the M-Hero 917’s 4987 x 2080 x 1935mm). But the wheelbase of these models is the same – 2950 mm. However, the M800 has a four-seat interior layout. This hints that it is not designed for off-road use, but for city trips with a driver.
The new SUV received approach and departure angles of 24 and 30 degrees. For M-Hero 917 they are 31 degrees each. The front and rear tracks of the M800 have the same width of 1755 mm. This SUV is equipped with 275/65 R20 wheels at the front and 295/60 R20 at the rear. Its curb weight is 3270 kg, and its gross weight is 3740 kg.
Under the hood of the M-Hero M800 is a 1.5-liter ICE petrol engine producing 197 hp. It does not transmit torque to the wheels, acting as a generator. The M800 will likely have the same powertrain as the M-Hero 917. It features three electric motors with a total output of 816 hp. They are powered by a battery pack (NMC) from CATL.
The M-Hero M800 will cost more than the M-Hero 917 as it is larger and has a four-seater layout. An electric version of the M800 will also be available on the market in the future.
This is the Hyundai Tucson N Line 2025. The car has lost its corporate logo on the steering wheel
Hyundai showed what the new Tucson 2025 looks like in the sporty N Line version after the presentation of the updated car in South Korea.
The only image of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson N Line shows slightly redesigned headlights, as well as a different grille compared to the pre-facelift model. The N Line trim differs from the standard new version in body color and accents. Additionally, the 2025 Hyundai Tucson N Line features exclusive 19-inch wheels and a redesigned front bumper.
The 2025 Hyundai Tucson N Line gets more physical buttons than before. In addition, the gear selector has been moved to the steering wheel column, and the two 12.3-inch screens are modeled after Hyundai’s latest models.
Additionally, the H badge has been removed from the steering wheel and replaced with a stripe with four dots (that’s H in Morse code). The climate settings panel has been updated and a “floating” console has appeared.
The interior should also be quieter now. Hyundai is extending double laminated glass from the windshield to the front door glass. Two-stage shock absorbers will be installed on the front axle, and the cabin will have a more massive floor covering. Additionally, more sound deadening material has been added to the front wheel housing, driver’s seat bottom, and B- and C-pillars.
Volkswagen ID cars will now be able to provide your home with electricity for up to 2 days
Volkswagen has announced a new Vehicle to Home feature that adds bidirectional charging to electric ID models. This means VW’s electric vehicles will now be able to power an entire family for two days using the energy stored in their batteries.
This feature will be available for both new and existing vehicles via ID firmware. Software 3.5. The firmware is only compatible with ID models equipped with the 77 kWh battery, meaning that models with the smaller 58 kWh battery will not receive this feature. One more detail: bidirectional charging currently only works with the S10 E Compact DC home power station from HagerEnergy GmbH, although support for other devices will be added later.
According to Volkswagen, the average daily household energy consumption is around 30 kWh, meaning electric vehicles can potentially cover up to two days’ worth of electricity needs. In any case, the battery will not be discharged below 20%, so that the car will always remain in working order in case the owner needs it.
In combination with a home power station, an integrated Home Energy Management System (HEMS) from HagerEnergy GmbH and a solar panel system, the Vehicle to Home feature allows VW owners to supply their households with sustainable energy. This is possible if the EV battery is charged with solar energy and sends it back home when needed – for example, on cloudy days when the solar panels don’t work as efficiently.
The technology will be tested as part of a pilot project. Residents of the Stenberg housing estate near the Swedish town of Hudiksvall will be provided with electric cars and “appropriate charging infrastructure” so they can try out bidirectional charging and use sustainable energy.
