Last week, Poco introduced the Poco M5 smartphone, which goes on sale today in two versions. The 4/64GB version is $155, while the 6/128GB version is $185.

The 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen on the Poco M5 features a waterdrop notch, Full HD+ resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Supports Widevine L1 certification for streaming platforms. The smartphone has a side fingerprint scanner.

Optics Poco M5 includes a main sensor of 50 megapixels and two additional modules with a resolution of 2 megapixels. There is an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

Thus, it is planned to reduce emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere and preserve the environment for future generations.

According to the project, the city will be made in the form of a flower, the “petals” of which are residential areas. The central area is planned to be divided into zones, each of which has a specific function, for example, medical or educational. About 100 thousand people will be able to live in XZERO, and the city will also provide 30,000 “green” jobs.

More than 65% of the metropolitan area (about 16 square kilometers) is dedicated to open spaces, including land for urban agriculture (community gardens, bio-domes, aquaponics and vertical farms), recreation areas, rainwater-permeable sidewalks, sports fields and courtyards. There is also a 35 km running track and a 9 km equestrian track that connects to the equestrian center.

Now researchers at Purdue University have developed a new compound that is thinner and lighter, ideal for removing heat from not only cars but other vehicles, including trains and planes.

“Everyone has contacted me, from spacecraft manufacturers to architects to clothing and footwear companies,” said Xiulin Zhuang, professor of mechanical engineering and paint developer at Purdue University. “They basically had two questions: where can I buy it and can I make the layer thinner?”

The unique paint uses barium sulfate nanoparticles that can reflect 98.1% of sunlight, as well as cool outdoor surfaces by more than 4.5 degrees Celsius relative to the environment. However, for the coating to work effectively, its thickness had to be at least 400 microns.

A plant for the production of new lithographic equipment will be built in Japan. The estimated investment will amount to $345 million, and production will start in the spring of 2025.

It is important to note that for the production there will use a technology called nanoprinting lithography. It eliminates the need for EUV lithography (deep ultraviolet lithography), which requires a lot of energy and is expensive. EUV lithography machines only produce ASML.

Canon’s new technology will reduce the cost of production due to the fact that nanoprinted lithography can reduce production costs by up to 40% and energy consumption by up to 90%.

Note that the technology of nanoprinted lithography was developed more than 10 years ago, it allows you to create schemes for 10 nanometers with a potential reduction to 2-3 nanometers. However, implementation issues forced the market to switch to EUV lithography. If the technology can prove its worth, this can lead to a significant reduction in the cost of microelectronics.

Earlier it was reported that the US authorities require ASML Holding NV not to supply equipment for the production of chips to China.
