The current flagships Oppo Find X3 and X3 Pro have been on sale for almost half a year now – the company is clearly working on the next generation models. The Find X5 premiere (it is expected that the successor to the Find X3 will be named that way) is expected in the first half of next year. It is not yet clear how this smartphone will look like, but the alleged characteristics of the model have already appeared on the Web.

This is what the Oppo Find X3 looks like, but the Find X5 will also have a quad camera

There is no doubt that Find X5 will receive a top-end Qualcomm platform, after all, we are talking about a flagship. It will be Snapdragon 898 (or 895 – there is no exact data on its designation yet). Also, the smartphone is assigned an AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.78 inches and a QHD resolution with a frame rate of 120 Hz and made using LTPO technology. These specs indicate the use of the Samsung E5 panel – the same one already used in the recently unveiled Vivo X70 Pro +.

If the rumors turn out to be true, then Find X5 will delight with its camera. It is reported about four modules: the main one with a wide-angle lens and a sensor with a resolution of 80 megapixels, an additional one with a sensor with a resolution of 20 megapixels and an ultra-wide-angle lens. The other two modules are for zoom: one with a 16-megapixel sensor and a telephoto lens, the other is a periscope, with a 50-megapixel sensor. The front camera is expected to use a 32-megapixel Sony IMX616 sensor. Also, the smartphone is credited with a 5000 mAh battery with support for 65W wired charging, 50W wireless AirVOOC and 10W wireless reverse power.

HackerOne Community announced on expanding the program for searching for vulnerabilities in open source projects. The initiative is part of the ongoing Internet Bug Bounty program.

Open source projects eligible for the HackerOne reward program include Ruby, Ruby on Rails, RubyGems, Curl, Electron, Django, Nginx, and OpenSSL. For vulnerabilities found in these projects, HackerOne will pay from $ 300 to $ 5000, depending on the severity of the bug. Payment will be made as follows. Four-fifths of the awards will immediately go to the researcher who discovers the problem. The fifth part of the award will be given to the developer who is engaged in the open source project in the direction that affects the new vulnerability. He will receive payment from HackerOne after he releases a patch against the vulnerability.

“Open source software is used in almost all modern digital infrastructure. Currently, an average, solid, not very rich application uses 528 different open source components. Critical vulnerabilities discovered in 2020 existed by the time of discovery for an average of about two years , and the application development companies did not have access and the ability to eliminate the identified deficiencies of the components used, “the company said in a press release.

Along with HackerOne, participating partners are organizations that rely on open source for software supply chains and other critical digital infrastructure – Elastic, Facebook, Figma, GitHub, Shopify, and TikTok.
