Avata weighs 410 grams and measures 180 x 80 x 180 mm. The drone will be able to accelerate to 97 km/h and reach a height of 5 km. The battery capacity will be 2420 mAh (35.71 Wh), the maximum flight duration is 18 minutes, and the flight range is up to 10 km. The drone will have three flight modes: normal, sport and manual.

DJI Avata will receive a stabilized (RockSteady 2.0 and HorizonSteady technologies are used) camera with a 48-megapixel 1/1.7-inch optical format CMOS sensor. The lens is wide-angle, with 12.6 mm EGF and F / 2.8 aperture. There is an auto focus system. Declared support for recording 4K video using H.264 and H.265 codecs is supported, but it is not yet clear with what frame rate – only 30 fps or also 60 fps.

Built-in memory in Avata – 20 GB. If necessary (and for cinewhoop drones, as a rule, there is such a need), it will be possible to use 256 GB microSD cards. The drone will receive a USB-C port for connecting to a PC and downloading video files from the built-in memory.

DJI will offer Avata in several versions. The $630 base package includes the drone itself, one battery, three pairs of spare propellers, a power supply, and a USB-C cable. There will also be an extended Fly Smart Combo with DJI Goggles V2 FPV goggles and a joystick.
