Nubia announced that the flagship smartphone Red Magic 8 Pro features extended battery life, a huge battery and very fast charging.

Red Magic 8 Pro is equipped with a 6000 mAh rechargeable battery. According to official figures, the smartphone holds a charge for 48 hours under normal use, which is far superior to other phones on the market.

In addition, a 165W gallium nitride charger is included to fully charge such a large battery in just 14 minutes. The smartphone and charger received several types of protection, including protection against overheating and power surges.

Red Magic 8 Pro will be the first gaming smartphone powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Red Magic 8 Pro smartphones will support 120Hz refresh rate in many popular games. The Red Magic 8 Pro uses a screen with an ultra-thin bezel of just 1.47mm wide on the sides, which occupies 93.7% of the bezel area. The diagonal of the OLED panel is 6.8 inches.

The main camera will receive image sensors with a resolution of 50, 8 and 2 megapixels. The front camera will be 8-megapixel. The back cover will be transparent, but there will be a version with an opaque back panel.

The announcement will take place on December 26.

As you can see, in low light, the brainchild of Samsung shows a wider dynamic range and detail. This is true for all cameras, including the ultra wide and tele cameras. But when shooting video at night, everything is not so clear. At least the Korean smartphone has a lot more noise and slower autofocus.

Of course, Samsung easily wins in the comparison of cameras, because it has two of them at once. Already at 10x zoom, the difference is very noticeable, and the iPhone cannot offer more than 15x at all.

Cinematic Mode on the iPhone clearly looks better, in addition, we can note a fairly significant difference in color reproduction, both in the photo and in the video.

The 128GB version uses slower UFS 3.1 memory. The 256GB version of the Galaxy S23 uses the new UFS 4.0 memory. In both cases, new LPDDR5X RAM is installed.

Allegedly, the base version may be slower in various scenarios than the 256GB version of the Galaxy S23. UFS 3.1 has a sequential read speed of 2100 Mbps and a sequential write speed of 1200 Mbps, while UFS 4.0 has a sequential read speed of 4200 Mbps and a sequential write speed of 2800 Mbps.
