Today, sales of the Lenovo GeekPro G5000 laptop started in China – this is the most affordable gaming model from the modern ones in the assortment of the Chinese company.

Geekbook has two versions. The $1,020 base has a Core i5-13500H and a GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop accelerator, while the $1,165 top has a Core i7-13700H and a GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop. The volumes of DDR5-5200 RAM and SSD are 16 GB and 1 TB, respectively.

The GeekPro G5000 is equipped with a 15.6-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a maximum brightness of 350 cd / sq.m. The display provides coverage of 100% of the sRGB color space. The battery capacity is 60 Wh, and the package includes a 140 W power supply.

After the release of laptops with 13th generation Intel Core processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 Laptop 3D accelerators, many previous generation mobile computers have fallen in price, but Gigabyte’s current offer stands out from the crowd, because the powerful Gigabyte Aero 16 laptop with an OLED 4K screen, Core i7 -12700H and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti in the US dropped 52% in price – the cost dropped to $ 1290. Many laptops with a GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop, Full HD IPS screen, and about the same level of processor are more expensive.

It should be noted that the price is reduced for the version with 32 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD, while most gaming laptops only have 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB or 1 TB SSD in the base. In general, this is just the case when a mobile computer of the past generation is more profitable than new products without losing in performance.

In China, sales of the Intel NUC X15 laptop have started – this reference model is easily collapsible: replacing memory or SSD is not difficult – the user will have to add them on their own. There are two slots for SO-DIMM DDR5-4800 modules (maximum RAM – 64 GB) and two slots for M.2 drives.

The diagonal of the IPS screen is 15.6 inches, the resolution is Full HD, and the frame rate is 144 Hz. There is no memory in the equipment, but there is a 14-core Core i7-12700H processor and an Intel Arc A730M 3D card. The latter has a GPU with 24 Xe cores and 12 GB of GDDR6 memory connected to the GPU via a 192-bit bus.

The Intel NUC X15 is 22.2mm thick and weighs 2.2kg. The laptop is equipped with HDMI 2.1 video output, 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet wired network adapter, USB-C port with Thunderbolt 4 interface, USB-A port.
