At the press conference that was dedicated to the launch of the Redmi 10 Prime smartphone, Xiaomi also announced a fully wireless earbud called the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro.

They are very similar to the previously released models: the manufacturer released such headphones in China in June under the name Redmi AirDots 3 Pro, they were offered at a price of $ 45. The global version of the device was named Redmi Buds 3 Pro, it was released in July for $ 50. Headphones Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro in India are offered for about $ 40, sales start on September 9th. However, despite the external similarity, the declared characteristics differ.

Previously released models have a runtime of up to 28 hours with the case, while the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro offers up to 30 hours of runtime on a single charge. Redmi AirDots 3 Pro and Redmi Buds 3 Pro last 6 hours listening to music, and Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro 7 hours. In addition, the manufacturer did not say anything about the noise cancellation system, so it can be assumed that it is not in the new headphones.

Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro for India is equipped with Qualcomm QCC3040 SoC. Thanks to this silicon, the earbuds offer Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and support for the aptX Adaptive codec. Each earpiece is equipped with two speakers, each weighing 4.6 grams. The earbuds are IPX4 rated and can be operated using touch gestures. There is also a function of quick connection to devices with MIUI. Music can be automatically paused when the headphones are removed from the ears – it resumes when they are put back on.

According to the information that appeared on the official page of the Redmi brand on the social network Weibo, the new fully wireless Redmi Buds 3 headphones will be released on September 6. This will be the company’s first wireless half-ear headphones.
