Gradually, technologies that were just recently available only in some flagship smartphones are appearing in low-cost devices. And if there are doubts about the 10x optical zoom in a $ 250 smartphone, then there is no doubt about the Infinix Note 12 VIP.

And this smartphone stands out because at a price of $ 300 it supports 120-watt charging! The manufacturer focuses on 103 protection functions that should secure the device. The battery capacity is 4500 mAh. Infinix says it only takes 17 minutes to fully charge.

But this is not all that the new product will please for its money. For example, it also uses a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution with support for 120 Hz. In addition, there is 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory. A microSD card slot is present.

The main camera of the smartphone is characterized by a resolution of 108 megapixels. There’s also a 13MP ultra-wide and a depth sensor. The resolution of the front camera is 16 megapixels.

But the platform here can be disappointing, given the price. This is MediaTek Helio G96. The manufacturer also notes a high-quality Dual X-Axis vibration motor, a nine-layer graphene cooling system, stereo speakers and a headphone jack. Dimensions are 163.5 x 76.7 x 7.9 mm with a weight of 198 g.

As you can see, the design will still be very unusual with many different elements and accents, but this is normal for a gaming smartphone. The camera module will change somewhat, although in general Asus is clearly not trying to make the new model radically different from the previous one.

Should HTC have gone back to making smartphones HTC Desire

HTC has been intriguing over the past few weeks with a flagship smartphone with a focus on virtual and augmented reality technologies, but in fact it turned out to be the $405 HTC Desire 22 Pro, built on the Snapdragon 695. It’s certainly not a flagship, but the price is considerable.

HTC Desire 22 Pro received a screen with a diagonal of 6.6 inches, Full HD + resolution and a frame rate of 120 Hz, as well as a triple main camera with sensors with a resolution of 64, 13 and 5 MP. Judging by the picture, there is no periscope module, which means that the “optical zoom” will be achieved due to the difference in focal lengths of different lenses.

In the configuration of the device, there is also protection in accordance with the degree of IP67 (and this is really not often found in mid-range models), a 4520 mAh battery (both wireless and reverse wireless charging are supported), pre-installed Android 12. The configuration is one – with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory.
