11th Gen Intel Core Tiger Lake-H specs revealed

A technical description of a computer based on Tiger Lake-H series processors was found on the network. It runs Windows 10 IoT Enterprise. The equipment includes a 17-inch display, optionally a touchscreen. The display resolution can be Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) or 4K (3840 x 2160).

The interesting part of the specification concerns processors. Their base frequencies are much lower than previously thought. In the case of the Core i9-11900H, it is equal to 2.1 GHz, not 2.5 GHz, in the case of the Core i7-11800H – 1.9 GHz, not 2.4 GHz, in the case of the Core i5-10400H – 2.2 GHz rather than 2.7 GHz. In this case, the increased frequencies coincide with what appeared in the previous leaks.

These processors will be based on the new Willow Cove architecture and are expected to be released at 10nm. Intel has already released 4-core variants for ultra-low power devices (Tiger Lake-U) and for a new class of portable gaming laptops (Tiger Lake-H35). The company also confirmed that the new series of mobile processors will have up to 8 cores capable of up to 16 threads, as well as 20 PCI Gen4.0 lanes. As for the release date for Tiger Lake-H, it is roughly at the end of the second quarter.
